What made you decide to be a BankSouth Loan Officer?
In college, I decided to major in finance. I have always enjoyed and excelled in math courses, but I fell in love with real estate finance during this time and knew this was the career path I wanted to follow.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Mortgage Bankers Association Gold Award Winner consistently since 2014
Why are you different than others in your profession?
Not only do I have a passion for this industry, but I have a true passion for people and being sure they are taken care of. I treat the people I work with as if they were family. Purchasing a home is a huge investment and getting people in the right mortgage loan for their specific needs is a priority for me – listening and understanding each individual person that I work with is significant.
List up to 3 things you enjoy doing on weekends?
On the weekends I enjoy spending as much time possible with my family; they are my everything. We love to go to the lake, hike and fly as my family is very big into aviation. My son also participates in little league baseball which is such a joy to watch.
Bio of Alex Williams
Alex Williams is an Atlanta native who earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kennesaw State University. She began her career in the industry as a mortgage processor, and this allowed her to gain a complete and unique understanding of the mortgage banking industry. After 12 years in the industry, Alex has cultivated a vast amount of mortgage experience and knowledge and has a true passion for real estate finance.

Alex went over and beyond to help me through both my home buying experiences one being an absolute disaster with a builder that I had to back out of and she didn't bat an eye to help me with my second home purchase which was closed 11/02. This is a huge Thank you to the whole banksouth team for all your hard work and dedication for the past year. Alex and the BankSouth team helped us navigate the current volatile market and stay ahead of rate changes. They also kept us informed of every step in the closing process and made sure to warn us to give us enough time to respond and act on the many steps in securing a loan. Thanks to BankSouth, we had all our closing documents 3 days prior to closing and no stresses on being ready to close on our new house.

We worked with Alex Williams, and I must say, from the beginning I could sense that she was different.... she is nothing less than a "get it done now!" type person. Her communications (timely and clear updates), clear explanations, and amazing responsiveness made what is normally a stressful process to be rather reassuring, She worked with me on making As a finance offer, we had to be able to close fast just to be considered against cash deals. Once we identified our home, we were able to close VERY fast- even the seller/ agent was shocked how fast we got this done. I can only credit the professionalism and expert ability of Alex and her team that we got our home. Thanks Alex!

My entire loan process was made easy and effortless because of Alex. I have a very busy and erratic schedule yet Alex was able to work with me and I never once felt as if I was drowning as were my previous experiences. Alex was attentive and kept me informed and notified when I had action items to complete. She had my back and so appreciated her efforts. I would highly recommend her to all of my family and friends.

Alex is great at holding people's hands throughout the entire financing process, especially for first time home buyers like my wife and I. Alex is prompt, takes her time explaining terminology and delivers the best rates. Highly recommend Alex!

I would highly recommend Alex to anyone. Her service was TOP NOTCH!!! I'm a first time buyer and she couldn't have made the process any easier for me. She responded very promptly to any phone calls or emails, took the time to detail out the process for me in terms so that I could understand and I know she always had my best interests at heart. If I ever need to re-fi or anything with my mortgage Alex will be my 1st call. The whole process was smooth and fast and she kept me informed the entire way. I worked with Alex to finance the home I just purchased this year. Working with her was an absolute delight. She could not be more thorough and professional. She always responds to questions and concerns immediately and has a great demeanor. As an OCD person, she had a very calming effect on me as we navigated through the process. Alex, was very responsive to anything that I needed and was always willing to run different quotes for me during the prospecting process. Once I had made a decision on a purchase everything ran completely smooth. She kept me up to date on where we were step by step and was always in communication with me on what they needed on my end. As a first time home buyer I couldn't have been more satisfied with the customer service and expertise from Alex, definitely made everything run smooth and on time.

Working with Alexandra Williams was by far one of the BEST and EASIESTS tasks I have experienced in quite some time.
